HRI is pleased to announce our latest engineering masterpiece as 2024 comes to a close. The novel HRI evaporation system is designed to utilize waste heat for concentrating wastewater streams up to 90%. The system evaporates much of the water content but leaves the hazardous material in solution for disposal. Utilizing the HRI evaporation system combined with heat from a thermal oxidizer, engine, or gas turbine, operators can reduce their annual hazardous waste disposal budget significantly. A few key specs below:
✔️ Dual tank system nominally rated at an input of 10,000 gallons of water per day
✔️ Concentrate wastewater to 90% with a heat input of ~ 5 MMBtu/hour or 1.5MW using exhaust gas at a minimum temp of 800°F
✔️ Low evaporation temperature of ~165°F ensures many hazardous materials stay in the concentrated stream and do not become airborne
✔️ Rugged, outdoor rated construction with NEMA 4 enclosures
✔️ Allen Bradley based control system with operator touch screen interface and SCADA integration capability
✔️ Single concentration discharge point for easy facility hookup
