We’re thrilled to unveil another one-of-a-kind, custom-built SOEC heat exchanger system. Our engineers collaborated closely with our customer to build a solution that precisely fit their needs, joining two heat exchanger cores to make one compact solution. Here are some of the specs:
• Application: Solid oxide electrolyzer cell (SOEC)
• Design Temperature: 1430°F (777°C)
• Design Pressure: 7.2psig (0.49barg)
• Effectiveness: 90%
• Pressure Drop (exchanger 1 / 2): Exceedingly low, hot side – ~5 / 7”w.c.,
cold side – ~4.5 / 7.5”w.c.
Unique features:
• Two, fully integrated cores with separate cold-side connections, one
common hot side connection
• Full custom manifolds
• Multiple materials employed, mixture of stainless steels and super alloys
• Custom mounting features for thermal expansion/growth
• Internally insulated gussets
